Welcome to the Weekend!

Its finally here... THE WEEKEND!!!

It's Friday night and you don't have any concrete plans for your weekend. You just checked the weather and it's going to be a gentle 102 degrees tomorrow.... What should you do???

Lucky for you Sequoia National Park in practically in your back yard. Take a drive to the beautiful Giant Sequoias and take a break from this heat. There is so much to see and do there. See the famous General Sherman Tree, which is the largest tree (by volume) in the entire world.

Or take a short hike and tour Crystal Caves. A cave system discovered in 1918 that allows for a breathtaking cave hike.

Beautiful Views, Fresh Air, and a high of 76 degress..... what are you waiting for.

Weekend Fun! Cool off at the Dive In Theater

If you are looking to stay cool and have a some fun for the whole family then you're in luck! The Porterville City Pools opening movie night is tonight!

They will be playing Paddington Bear. A family movie about a bear that travels to London looking for a home!

Gates Open at 7:30pm and the movie begins at dusk

$10 per family up to 5; $1 each additional

Weekdays:12:15-4:15pm6:30-8pm (Mon-Thurs) & 6:30-9pm (Fri)

Weekends: 1:00-5:00pm

Cost

$1 youth, $2 adult

Monthly pool passes available for unlimited swim $30/ Adults & $20/ Children. Ask the pool cashier for more details.
